Flag Bow How-To

I think the suggestions are great.
Since I am wearing this bow, I want it to be as small and simple as possible so I left it as is.

I don’t have a lot of pictures, but if you have any more questions,
please leave questions in the comments or email me.

The Red and White Solid Grosgrain Ribbon are 3/8″.

I used the Loopy Bow – Variation 1 technique in the TOTT Hair Bow Instructions for both bows.
It’s so easy!

For the bottom layer, I made it 3 1/2 inches wide and the top layer is 2 1/2 inches wide.

For the corner, I used Royal with White Stars Ribbon in 7/8″.

The first thing I did was decide on the length of the loop.
Since the bottom layer bow was 4 inches, I decided to make the loop 2 inches.
I doubled the 2 inches and added one inch to equal cutting 5 inches of ribbon.

Then I used my GlueGlider Pro to make the loop. I put the tape on and closed the loop.
If the loop is too long, you can cut it to shorten it.

Then I put my needle and thread through the loop.
I put the needle and thread through both layers of the bow, and then tied the thread around. Just watch the shape the loop is making and alter as needed.

The back will look somewhat like this.

Add your center and clip, and you’re done! 

If you want, you can actually hot glue the ribbons over the blue ribbon down
so you can view the stars better.

Either way, it will be cute and so fun to wear for the Fourth!
